1. V.A.T. at standard rate will be included to the cost of all removal jobs.
2. All prices are based on hourly rates and mileage rates or fixed rate. Prices are estimated to the best of our ability and based on information provided. If a job is to overrun the same hourly rates apply, likewise, if the job was to take less time you will only be charged accordingly.
3. An extra charge of £11.00 will be added if travelling through the Congestion Charge zone.
4. Jobs requiring our vehicles to travel outside the M25 may attract an additional charge to cover driving time to or from London. This charge will be added to the total cost of the job and you will be made fully aware of this if applicable.
5. For those jobs starting or finishing outside of the M25, a set price may be negotiated or an "mile charge" rate.
6. Parking remains the responsibility of the customer and must be arranged by the customer. If no other arrangements are made and our vehicle is to receive any infringements while on the job the customer is liable to pay for this. Payment must be received in full on completion of the job.
7. There will be a minimum charge of £40 for goods going to the tip, £30 for any assembly furniture and £30 for dismantling.(Subject to approval)
8. For residential moves, house removal or office removals A Man and Van (FastSprinterVan) accepts payments by cash. Payment must be received upon completion of the job.
9. For commercial moves or international moves A Man and Van (FastSprinterVan) accepts payments by cash. All invoices must be agreed prior to actual job date and be settled within 5 working days.
10. Job arrival times are estimated. Although we always do our best to be on time, circumstances out of our control may cause some delays.
11. If no other agreement is made A Man and Van (FastSprinterVan) not accepting any responsibility for damage or loss of property after the job is completed and the payment is received by the Driver.
12. We have a 2000 pound Goods in Transit insurance policy. In our hands your goods are covered for up to 2000 pound - subject to an Insurance excess charge of 100 pound per claim. This payable by the customer before any claim can be considered.
13. In order for claims to be processed, a Man and Van (FastSprinterVan) requires, before the actual job date, a signed (scanned email) copy of the customers complete inventory complete with itemised values.
14. It is customer's responsibility to arrange an extra insurance if required.
15. We do not cover the following: loss of damage to food and drink, furs, jewellery, watches, precious stones, deeds, bonds, bills of exchange, promissory notes, money or securities for money ,stamps of all kinds, manuscripts and other documents. loss or damage caused by or arising from wear, tear, gradual deterioration ,mildew. Moth, vermin or any process of cleaning, repairing or restoring mechanical and/or electrical derangements unless caused by external means breakage of owner-packed goods unless caused by a major accident to the means of conveyance, loss or damage occurring in premises where the goods are stored, warehoused or temporarily housed in the course of transit.
16. In the event of loss of or damage to any article forming part of a pair or set, the indemnity granted hereunder shall be limited to the proportionate value that article bears to the total value of the pair or set and no additional depreciation shall be paid.
17. Our charges only start when the men first arrive at the pick-up address and finish when the man/men have finished unloaded your items into the drop-off address.
18. Our fleet of removal vans currently consists of 3.5 Tonne Mercedes Sprinter white vans which have an available capacity of between 600 - 680 cubic feet (13 - 15 cubic metre) of space.
